Role as Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide
As a nursing assistant/nurse aide, you'll become an important part of our multi-professional team. You'll work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and doctors to provide each patient with the best conditions to reach their goals.
The work involves nursing and rehabilitation efforts, such as:
• Patient care within rehabilitation
• Responsible for nursing issues in team collaboration
• Participate in planning coordination and care interventions
• Support patients and their families in their rehabilitation process
• Follow-up on care plans
• Medical tasks, such as sample collection

Work hours are scheduled during day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Your Future Workplace
The Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic is a modern workplace focused on collaboration and learning. We work in teams with various professional roles to provide the best possible care and support to patients needing rehabilitation. Our primary diagnosis groups are neurological injuries and diseases, but other diagnosis groups are also encountered. Here, you'll have the opportunity to follow patient development over time and see how interventions make a difference. We treat patients 18 years and older who need team-based rehabilitation interventions.
The activity is region-wide and located in Jönköping, Nässjö, and Värnamo. Organizationally, the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic belongs to the Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Diagnostics area of Region Jönköping County.
Your Profile
We're seeking candidates who are trained nurse aides, or those studying to become nurses or doctors and have completed the 4th semester before the start of the temporary position. We also welcome applications from students of physiotherapy or occupational therapy who have completed the 4th semester. An interest in rehabilitation and a holistic view of the patient is a significant plus.
Teamwork is one of our fundamental principles, so we prefer candidates who enjoy collaboration. Personal suitability is highly important. To ensure the best summer planning, we look favorably upon candidates who can work full-time for 8 weeks or at least 4 consecutive weeks during the summer. Introduction occurs in addition to these weeks.
