About this opportunity:
Based within the Solution Area Cognitive Network Solutions (SA CNS), the Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) is a highly qualified global service delivery team located in several countries. We are at the forefront of technology, working with a diverse range of customers around the world. We are experts in the field of Network Design and Optimization (NDO).
We are now looking for a new and key role in our team, driving the adoption of Cognitive Software products as part of the NDO processes and operations, supporting our customers in North America in their transformation journey.
What you will do:
* Technical Expertise: You will serve as the main technical point of contact for customers, addressing technical inquiries and challenges. You will be the Technical Authority in this area, both internally and towards external customers.
* Adoption-driver: You will provide technical guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful adoption, implementation, and ongoing usage of the rApps (software applications as defined by the O-RAN Alliance) by our customers. You will also drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth, demonstrating the benefits of our solutions to support customers’ operational transformation.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will participate in cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and support, to provide customer feedback, address technical issues, follow up on improvements, and deliver solutions.
The skills you bring:
* Senior expertise in RAN 4G and 5G technologies, with delivery experience in complex NDO services. Expert-level knowledge of Ericsson RAN network features, algorithms, and parameters. Expertise in network performance analysis and optimization.
* AI/ML experienced-level competence, including ML Ops, machine learning techniques, and machine reasoning.
* Understanding of Cloud Native and Cloud Computing (providers, serverless, container orchestration (k8), creation and deployment of services).
* Software Architecture and Design expertise, with a focus on transforming software to modular/mServices/event-driven architectures.
* DevOps & CI/CD knowledge, including understanding of pipelines and automation.
* Big Data handling experience, including big data flow and orchestration.
* Proficiency in Python and data wrangling, including creating Python packages, interacting with data/APIs, and performing analysis and visualization.
* Agile and product/project thinking, with skills in scope breakdown to create measurable progress and achievements.
* Strategic leadership/consulting abilities, with an understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies.
* An innovative mindset.
