We offer this position in a fast-paced, truly global environment with an endless supply of challenges and development opportunities. **Job Description** As the SAP GTS Solution Architect, you will be responsible for SAP GTS solution design, implementation, and maintenance within our Customs workstream. This is a team effort, and you will excel by working closely with a team of Business Analysts, External Consultants, Developers (Techno-functional design), Security & Data Privacy team, and Data Specialists to ensure SAP GTS design, delivery, and maintenance that adheres to standards without compromising the high degree of automation and specialization in our global value chain. More specifically, in this role you will be: - Accountable for the solution architecture (including techno-functional requirements) across the Customs processes implemented in SAP GTS. - Collaborating closely with Product Owners and Lead Solution Architects to evaluate and align any design changes from an application maintenance perspective. - Acting as a front-line person, ensuring a seamless platform experience in the live environment across the complete value chain, independent of the underlying application landscape, which includes: - Enhancements within the SAP ecosystem as well as Software Development (DevSecOps) requirements supporting related capabilities. - Standard and normal changes as part of releases in line with configuration and design guidelines, ensuring retrofit across the landscape and cross-alignments with the ecosystem of SAP platforms. - Supporting analysis of productive issues (Incident & Problem Management) and implementing resolutions while collaborating with the entire Application Management support team, including both internal and external teams. - Supporting testing automation. - Learning and supporting non-SAP applications that are critical to the Customs business process within the overall ecosystem. - Operational Reporting, as well as embedded Analytics solution design & maintenance. - Adhering to operational governance and SLAs, ensuring the desired outcomes; identifying dependencies, testing requirements, service orchestration, and business impact implications. - Demonstrating cross-functional alignments, i.e., the ability to look at the end-to-end process and explain how it fits together. - Proactively communicating status, escalating issues, and managing timelines and action items. - Managing risks and mitigating challenges surrounding a transformational transition architecture, always ensuring business continuity.
