As the principal, you will lead the educational work, be responsible for the quality and development of the operations, and collaborate with the board and the engaged team. Administration, finance, and personnel issues are included in the responsibilities.
In this role, you will combine the overall responsibility as principal with practical work in the children's group. We see regular interactions with the children and their guardians as an essential part of the principal's role. Salary is to be agreed upon.
Waldorf education is based on an anthroposophical worldview and stems from Rudolf Steiner's thoughts on how educational activities can be designed to allow the child to develop as comprehensively as possible in their will, emotion, and thought. Through creative play, children develop collaboration skills, empathy, and concepts that become a rich source throughout their lives. The objective in preschool is to grant children the right to be children and to experience a secure childhood, maturing at their own pace before eventually engaging with the adult world and all that it entails.
