We are looking for someone who wants to enrich our worship life and daily activities with music. Together with our organist and other musicians in the congregation, you will play at services and church ceremonies. Our congregation has a comprehensive musical program. We value good collaboration within the work team, where we support each other and actively counteract discrimination and harassment.
Vilhelmina is a friendly and pleasant community in the interior of Lapland. The community is close to the Lapland mountain region, where we also have four churches, and it offers great opportunities for an active outdoor lifestyle, including hiking, hunting, and fishing. Vilhelmina has good childcare and education up to the high school level. There is also an airport nearby with daily flights to Arlanda.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is an educated parish musician or has equivalent education/experience.
• Is used to taking responsibility and working independently. You drive your work forward, take initiative, and see what needs to be done.
• Has a valid driver’s license (category B).
• Is a member of the Church of Sweden.
• We place great importance on personal suitability.
The position is a permanent employment and a probationary period may apply. Start date is to be agreed upon.
