We are now seeking a Social Worker for the Adult Unit!
About the Organization
The Social and Labor Market Administration's Individual and Family Care is currently divided into two units: the Child and Family Unit and the Adult Unit. The units are led by unit managers and group leaders. There are about 50 employees in IFO in Hallsberg.
The Adult Social Worker belongs to the Adult Unit, which also includes assistance officers and outpatient care for adults with harmful use and addiction. The Child and Family Unit handles cases concerning children and youth, family law, foster care, and outpatient services.
Job Responsibilities
You will be one of the colleagues in the social worker group handling cases related to financial assistance, harmful use and addiction, domestic violence, and housing issues. The group consists of six social workers, one of whom is focused on handling cases related to harmful use and addiction. The group is led by a group leader, which provides close and prompt support in daily work.
In operational development, group meetings, and daily tasks, you will have the opportunity to develop and contribute knowledge. To thrive in the role of a social worker, you need to enjoy meeting people, working motivationally, and writing ongoing notes and reports.
Qualifications
You should be a qualified social worker or have another higher education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working within social services and good knowledge of applicable legislation. It is an advantage if you have experience handling financial assistance or any of the other areas we work with. Other merits include knowledge of the operational systems Lifecare. You should be able to collaborate easily and build good relationships with clients and partners. You are encouraged to contribute your creativity and not be afraid to think outside the box. It is important that you see opportunities in changes and can quickly adapt to new circumstances. In your professional role, you should be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing. It is essential that you want to collaborate with colleagues to develop working methods and that you are positive, flexible, and have a strong commitment to your work.
A driver's license is a requirement.
