The Adult Unit consists of 15 employees who work with support and authority in areas such as addiction, domestic violence, financial assistance, housing, and economic advice. The unit also includes a unit manager and a team leader who provide support in daily operations.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
As a social worker in the Adult Unit, you will work with adults who need support due to harmful use/addiction, domestic violence, or housing issues. You will assess needs according to SoL (Social Services Act) and LVM (Care of Abusers Act), approve interventions, and follow up on these in line with applicable laws and guidelines.
The Adult Unit has a clear focus on providing our community residents with the best possible support at home; we believe this is best achieved through collaboration between our units and other stakeholders surrounding the individual. Being flexible in finding the best solutions for the individuals you work with, in collaboration with others, will therefore be an important part of your role. The position also includes conducting environmental monitoring and participating in the unit's development work.
We want you to thrive, develop, and succeed in your role. We invest in professional development and close support from colleagues, team leaders, and management. This is to create the conditions for you and your colleagues to succeed in achieving our goals. We also offer good opportunities for wellness to promote a healthy workplace.

We are looking for candidates with a social work degree. Experience with authority work according to SoL and LVM, as well as training in MI (Motivational Interviewing), ASI (Addiction Severity Index), FREDA, and PATRIARCH, is an advantage.
We believe that the person who would thrive in this position is someone who can create alliances and work systematically in a clear process with individual clients. The work is largely governed by law and is unpredictable, and our mission is to support and investigate people in difficult life situations, which thus requires competence, personal maturity, and suitability for the profession. We are looking for someone who is calm, stable, and possesses good self-awareness regarding their own strengths, limitations, and needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A valid driver's license (Category B) is a requirement.
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application today!
