One of our colleagues is moving on to new challenges within the unit, and therefore we are seeking a social worker for a permanent position in our youth group for ages 15-20. Your role We are looking for a social worker for the investigation group for ages 15-20. The group is part of the Reception and Investigation Unit for youth, families, and disabilities, which is included in the Child and Family Area. We work in a family-oriented manner, meaning that the entire family system should receive a comprehensive and coordinated needs assessment. It is important to us that you also want to be involved in continuing to improve the unit's work with children, youth, and their families. We need someone who is driven by an interest in development issues, quality assurance, employee support, and team-based working methods. In the Reception and Investigation Unit for youth, families, and disabilities, there is a youth group, a reception group, child caseworkers for LSS ages 0-20, and adult caseworkers for parents seeking support regarding LSS, social psychiatry, and substance abuse. As a social worker in the youth group, you will work with youth and their parents. By adhering to processes and guidelines, you will conduct a legally sound exercise of authority. You should be able to independently assess the youth's need for protection and support, analyze and evaluate the need for interventions, and then follow up on approved interventions. We have a goal-oriented working method, and through your work, you will contribute to achieving the unit's goals effectively. You will be responsible for independently managing and overseeing the entire process in your cases. Your work will involve collaborating with other professionals both within the unit, within the administration, and externally, for the benefit of the child and families. You will have close cooperation with other caseworkers and managers in the unit, municipal and private providers, as well as other stakeholders within the operational area. Your qualifications and experience Requirements: - Degree in Social Work - Experience in exercising authority regarding children/youth - Good knowledge of current legislation It is advantageous if you have worked with tools such as Signs of Safety and BBIC. It is particularly positive if you also have experience with or knowledge of SAVRY, ADAD, MI, iRisk, and/or FREDA short questions. You find it easy to work independently but also have an interest in contributing to the development of the group's collective competence and work community. Since a significant part of the job consists of documentation and administration, you need to have a good ability to articulate yourself in both speech and writing, as well as be computer literate. You have a strong ability to structure and plan your work. As a person, you are unpretentious, curious, attentive, and collaborative, with the ability to remain calm in demanding situations.
