Are you interested in working broadly, developing and growing as a social worker, and helping create sustainable solutions for children and youth? As an investigator in the Social Services and Care Administration in Katrineholm, you will investigate the needs of children and youth and plan interventions that make a real difference - both for the individual and society.
We are facing an exciting transformation journey where we are adapting our organization in line with the new Social Services Act that came into effect on July 1, 2025. We are now seeking investigators for children and youth at the investigation unit, where you have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and young people in Katrineholm. The unit will consist of 14 investigators working with children and youth, two investigators in the network team, a mentor, a social administrator, two senior social workers, and a unit manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an investigator, you will be responsible for investigating and following up on interventions for children, youth, and their parents. Through conversations and meetings in various constellations, you will conduct investigations and assessments of individual situations and potential support needs. You will document and write your investigations in the Treserva system. We are licensed by the National Board of Health and Welfare to investigate according to BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus), and we actively work based on the Signs of Safety approach. As a child investigator, you will closely collaborate with other units within the administration and external actors.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a social work degree. We prefer candidates with previous experience in administrative work within Social Services and good knowledge of current legislation such as SoL and LVU. Experience working with BBIC and Signs of Safety is meritorious. You should have good Swedish language skills, both oral and written. The role requires a B driver's license due to work-related travel.
To succeed in the role, we seek someone who is flexible and adaptable when circumstances change. You should see opportunities in changes and find ways forward even in complex situations. At the same time, you are structured and able to plan, prioritize, and organize your work efficiently and carefully. As the work involves close collaboration with colleagues and other actors, good cooperation skills are crucial - you communicate clearly, attentively, and contribute to a positive and solution-focused work climate.
