**Job Title: Social Worker with Experience in Social Psychiatry**
**Job Description**
In anticipation of upcoming retirements, we are now seeking a social worker with experience in social psychiatry!
**Responsibilities**
As a social worker within the Social Psychiatry Investigation Unit, you will be responsible for investigating and assessing the needs for interventions for adults with mental disabilities under the Social Services Act.
You will make decisions regarding interventions based on the municipality's responsibility for housing and employment, and you will follow up on the effectiveness of these interventions. In addition to your unit manager and experienced colleagues, you will have the support of a senior social worker, administrative support, and external supervision.
In social psychiatry in Lund, we operate from a recovery perspective. It is important that the individuals we serve receive flexible, high-quality support tailored to their specific needs. The work involves significant collaboration with psychiatry, other external actors, and close cooperation between different units within the administration.
**We are looking for someone who:**
- Holds a degree in social work and has several years of experience in public authority work. You should also have experience in social work with the target group of social psychiatry.
- Is independent and capable of planning your time effectively within the framework of the assignment. You take responsibility for decisions made and can convey uncomfortable messages when necessary. You work efficiently under stress, can balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations. You can effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and suggest possible solutions.
- Has experience in network building and knowledge exchange. You are expected to assist with certain methodological or developmental work within the unit and participate in maintaining routines, assessment tools, and processes in daily operations. You need to be active in the group and advocate for change initiatives that benefit the residents of Lund. You also seize opportunities to think innovatively and stay updated through environmental monitoring.
- The role involves extensive documentation, thus high demands are placed on administrative skills, familiarity with systems, and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
It is advantageous if you have education and further training in the areas of social psychiatry, Motivational Interviewing (MI), recovery perspectives, comorbidity, and violence in close relationships.
