Social Worker for Investigation Unit, Children and Youth Services

You will be part of the team that primarily handles youth cases. Each team consists of six social workers and a lead social worker who provides work management and supports you in your official duties together with your colleagues. We are seeking one for a permanent position and one for a temporary position between January 19 and August 31. Work tasks involve investigating and assessing children and young people's (0-18 years) support needs, making and following up interventions based on risk and protective factors using BBIC and current legislation SoL, LVU, and LBSB. The work includes meetings and conversations with children, youth, and families, where documentation is a crucial part. One goal is to increase children's voice and participation - conversations with children are therefore a central work task. You play an important role for the children and families we meet, and we work together to succeed. Cooperation with each other, collaboration with our service units, other collaborative partners, and important people for the family is therefore important. Introduction, supervision, and skills development are taken for granted. In addition to introduction, you will be offered continuous skills development through Professional Journey and training in other methods available in the department. Your lead social worker, mentor, and the department's introduction coordinator will provide close support during your introduction. Your workplace will be in comfortable premises at the social office on Borstbindaregatan 12 A, where all our investigation units and reception are located together in an open-plan office with fixed workstations. The office is centrally located near Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen with good communication options. About You You who apply should have a social work degree. Additionally, you need knowledge about child development and applicable legislation in the field. Previous experience in official duties and/or other social work with children and youth is meritorious. You need to have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Treserva and a B driver's license are meritorious.
