About this role
Borås City is in an exciting phase where the Department of Individual and Family Care is growing and developing to better meet the needs of its residents. Do you have an interest in engaging with people and understanding their life situations? We offer you an exciting and developmental role in an organization where you contribute to meaningful work.
Our common reception serves as an entry point, open around the clock, where we conduct initial conversations for all cases within the areas of children and youth as well as adults. Here, 14 dedicated social workers are involved in authority exercises, along with two method supervisors and a unit manager. You will work closely with management and receive strong collegial support, with ample opportunities for professional development. You will encounter a daily routine filled with rewarding interactions and colleagues who make a difference. In our group, you will thrive if you have a twinkle in your eye and share your experiences and knowledge in a humble manner. We value humor and curiosity here – because we know that we develop best together. It is important for us to preserve and acquire new knowledge within our area of responsibility, and therefore we receive legal guidance from legal caseworkers as well as external supervision.
The work primarily takes place during daytime hours according to a fixed six-week schedule. The schedule also includes some evening and night shifts when we staff the social emergency service. Emergency shifts are primarily conducted remotely. The working hours are 38.25 hours per week, which corresponds to a full-time position.
