**Job Description**
In our current unit, we have the privilege of working with target groups including children and youth, as well as domestic violence. Our mission also includes informing residents and professionals about the work of social services by participating in parent meetings, collaboration meetings, and lectures. With the new Social Services Act and to increase accessibility for our residents, the reception will undergo changes to include preliminary assessments for all children and adults, becoming a unified reception for the entire department. This will be an exciting transformation!
The unit's responsibilities regarding children aged 0-20 include:
- Receiving reports of concern and applications, conducting preliminary assessments, and making decisions in cases where children may need protection or support, utilizing BBIC and Signs of Safety.
- Representing the reception unit in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Collaborating with other units within the department, such as investigations and open care.

We have begun the work on how the unified reception will be structured to provide the best service to our residents. You, who join us, will be part of this change, and we hope you have experience working with regulatory authority concerning various target groups. The plan is for the new reception to be operational by early 2026. Additionally, a 36-hour workweek will be introduced in the spring for employees with client-facing roles.

**Qualifications**
A degree in social work is required for this position, along with prior experience in regulatory authority within social services. We are looking for someone who can work in a team and drive the work forward in collaboration with others. You are flexible and can switch between high and low-paced tasks. A driver's license is a requirement.
The following are considered meritorious:
- Handling cases involving children and youth according to SoL and LVU.
- Training in BBIC and Signs of Safety.
- Training in domestic violence.
- Experience working with other target groups within regulatory authority.
- Knowledge and experience regarding the victimization of children, youth, and adults.
- Knowledge and experience with risk assessment tools such as FREDA, SARA, PATRIARK, or SAM.
- Other relevant experience that can help you perform legally secure, empathetic, and effective social work.
- You take initiative and see opportunities.
- You express yourself well in both speech and writing.
- Speaking multiple languages and having experience from various cultures is a plus.
- You are interested in organizational development and have a desire to contribute to this.
