We ensure that all residents receive the support they are entitled to. Would you like to improve the everyday life, future, and quality of life for the citizens of Linköping? With us, you can combine important assignments with a meaningful daily life. Welcome to our team!
Your Responsibilities
As a social worker within Enhanced Open Care, you will be part of a team responsible for providing structured outpatient interventions to children and youth aged 0-20 years and their families. The target group has complex needs for social support due to psychosocial difficulties, and the work is carried out based on assistance decisions.
The interventions are designed and coordinated in close collaboration with the family, which contributes to providing them with the best possible support and increasing their motivation for change. The treatment work primarily occurs in the families' home environment to provide support in daily situations as they arise. Your role aims to find flexible solutions that can avoid placements and promote support at home.
In your work, close collaboration with social workers within the authority, other treatment staff, and external actors is crucial to successfully carry out this mission. Therefore, you will work together with other stakeholders in interdisciplinary teams within the Department of Children and Youth to develop new methods to meet the demand for flexible home-based solutions. You will also actively participate with the workgroup and immediate management to develop new ways of working that address the complex needs of the families we encounter.
Your Workplace
The Social Administration has undergone significant organizational changes this year, with one of the goals being for orderers and providers to work more closely together to meet citizens' needs in a more resource-efficient manner. A new organization took effect on October 1, 2024, with Enhanced Open Care established as one of several service units within the Department of Children and Youth. Employees within Enhanced Open Care have previously worked in the Family Unit (Advice and Support). Enhanced Open Care is divided into an IHF team, an outpatient team, and an MST (Multisystemic Therapy) team with its own method supervisor.
The group has grown this year and now consists of 22 dedicated colleagues with a mix of ages and extensive experience in the profession, contributing to a safe and supportive work environment. We offer supervision and close managerial support.
The working hours for the positions are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexible arrangements. In the fall, we will initiate a pilot project to evaluate on-call duty. The goal is to develop sustainable working methods that ensure we can meet families’ needs for availability and support even outside regular office hours.
The location is centrally located on Ågatan in Linköping.
