**Description**
Sunne Municipality is seeking a social worker for family law services.
In Sunne Municipality, social services encompass family law, child and youth services, addiction care, economic assistance, social psychiatry, family centers, and treatment.
**Responsibilities**
As a social worker in family law, you will function independently in your specific role while collaborating closely with the child and youth group.
The duties of the family law services include:
- Performing and writing assessments and investigations regarding custody, living arrangements, and visitation rights on behalf of the court, focusing on the best interests of the child.
- Conducting mediation sessions as mandated by the court.
- Holding informational meetings.
- Investigating and drafting agreements regarding custody, living arrangements, and visitation at the request of custodians.
- Appointing visitation support, implementing, following up, and reporting to the court.
- Providing family law advice.
- Investigating and following up on adoptions, both domestic and international.
- Investigating paternity and parenthood to some extent.
- Investigating and assessing custody transfers in foster care placements.
In addition to family law, the role will involve some responsibilities as a social worker assisting with the execution of child protection actions, fund management, and other tasks within the social services departmental structure.
**Qualifications**
You, as an applicant, hold a degree in social work and have work experience in the area of family law and/or social services for children and youth. It is important that you possess the ability to work independently, plan, and take responsibility for your tasks. You need to be meticulous and have strong verbal and written communication skills. A special interest in the legal aspects associated with family law is essential, as is being comfortable managing conflict-laden situations. Furthermore, you should be a supportive colleague who collaborates well with others. Personal suitability is highly valued. Some travel may occur in the role, thus a valid B driving license is required. Experience with the operational system LifeCare is an advantage. We expect you to be an empathetic and secure individual who can contribute to a positive work environment.

**Terms**
