**About the Job**
We are currently seeking social workers for the financial support units in Hjällbo, Social Administration Nordost.
The primary mission is to assess the right to assistance and to work collaboratively with clients towards self-sufficiency.
We are looking for someone who is interested in working on self-sufficiency initiatives and has a solid understanding of public authority functions. In our role, we encounter adults with various needs, which may stem from issues such as mental health challenges, addiction, disabilities, etc. A significant part of the job involves engaging clients in the planning process towards self-sufficiency through a positive approach. At the same time, it is crucial to communicate clearly so that clients understand their rights and obligations. This role entails conveying decisions while also motivating and coaching individuals forward. A key prerequisite for success in this role is maintaining frequent contact with clients. The work also involves collaboration with other authorities and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for candidates with a degree in social work and extensive experience in public authority functions, thus having a strong grounding in the relevant legislation. Experience in multiple areas within social services is an advantage to facilitate effective collaboration. You understand the importance of lawful processing and what it entails in practice. The job includes communication and documentation, and you need to be skilled in articulating clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Good computer skills are a requirement, as well as experience with the operational system Treserva.
In the role of social worker, it is important to have a professional demeanor, showing consideration and respect for those you meet in your professional capacity. You also need to collaborate with other stakeholders to provide appropriate support for alternative means of subsistence, as clients often face complex issues. Furthermore, you have the ability to work together with others to accomplish tasks and achieve the unit's goals. Given the dynamic nature of the workday, you need to be flexible in your thinking and able to adapt your working methods to changing circumstances. Additionally, you can balance various demands in your work and make well-informed decisions under time pressure. In your role as a social worker, you utilize your time effectively and work systematically, organized, and methodically.

Social Administration Nordost works to provide residents in northeastern Gothenburg with equitable and effective welfare, enabling them to live safe and independent lives.
