The Social Administration in Stockholm City has an overarching and coordinating role for social services, individual and family care, and the area of disabilities. We create good conditions to support residents in need of social service assistance. In close collaboration with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, with a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support services is offered to the city’s residents, adapting according to the needs of Stockholmers and the wishes of the district administrations. Work often occurs in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business sector. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco permits and conducts supervision.
Welcome to us at Eurenii Minne!
The unit belongs to the Area of Support and Protection within the Social Administration, Stockholm City.
The area consists of services that provide support and protection to children and adults living in various forms of vulnerability. We are currently seeking a full-time social worker who will work on a schedule that includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Eurenii Minne is a 24-hour operation located in Blackeberg, serving families with children aged 0–18 years based on three different assignments: emergency placements, investigations, or parental support. The situations encountered are varied and often complex. Investigations primarily concern questions related to the parents' ability to provide care, with investigation periods typically ranging from about 6 to 8 weeks. Parental support cases are longer placements where long-term change work is carried out together with the parent. Our placed families live in their own apartments with self-catering facilities. We are a stable and dedicated team of 16 people, including 10 social workers who work scheduled day/evening/weekend shifts, three treatment assistants who work wakeful nights, one unit manager, one team leader, and one administrative assistant.
