Your Responsibilities
In economic assistance, we work to promote social change through a solution-focused approach. Our goal is to collaborate with clients to find and develop solutions that strengthen their personal resources and enable self-sufficiency. As a caseworker, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions about economic assistance, where personal meetings are central to our work. By listening and showing genuine interest in each individual, we ensure legally sound administrative practices.
Beyond economic assistance, you will handle estate notifications/provisional estate management and investigate incorrect payments. Once comfortable in your role, you will also participate in introducing new colleagues and serve as a mentor for social work students during their practical training.
Your Qualifications
• Academic degree in a relevant field (social work, behavioral sciences)
• Strong interest in social work and courage to make a difference for vulnerable individuals
• Excellent Swedish language skills for conducting and documenting conversations
• Previous experience in social services or administrative work is a significant advantage
• Knowledge of Lifecare system, social law, and conversation methodologies is preferred
