We are now seeking dedicated colleagues for our Child and Family Center, which consists of two units with social workers, method supervisors, and unit managers. We are organized into five smaller investigation teams and a Safety Team. According to the Borås model, we work with a structured case distribution on a rolling schedule and hold regular team meetings. These regular team meetings provide you with close collegial support, security, and a sense of belonging. Social Worker for the Child and Family Center Job Responsibilities We work with the target group of children and young people aged 0-17 years and their guardians. As a social worker with us, you will primarily investigate, make decisions, and follow up on approved interventions according to the Social Services Act and the Youth Care Act. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and previous experience in public authority work within social services for children and youth. It is an advantage if you have worked using the Signs of Safety approach. You should have a good demeanor, personal maturity, and a professional attitude. You are structured, capable of planning, and responsible for your role. You have excellent documentation skills and verbal communication abilities. We also expect you to have the engagement and flexibility to develop the organization and create a shared understanding of the mission. You enjoy collaborating and cooperating both internally and externally. A valid driver’s license (Category B) is required.
