About this role
At the Reception and Investigation unit, we are always greeted by each other's cheerful faces, excited about the opportunity to work together. In our workplace, we have worked hard to establish structure and participation in how we want our work to be carried out. We place great value on the importance of each individual and the opportunity for continuous development. Our workplace is located in Södertälje, where we meet people from all corners of the world, which is incredibly exciting. As a Social Worker in the Reception and Investigation unit (MoU), you will encounter a wide variety of tasks, engaging with individuals via phone, email, letters, and, importantly, in face-to-face meetings where we assess eligibility for financial assistance. We are committed to ensuring that social work is rooted in human interactions, and we constantly strive to refine how this is best accomplished. If you are experienced and understand how people connect, come join us, as we want to benefit from your knowledge!
We recognize that diversity is a strength, and we are currently in need of more diverse perspectives. Within the Reception and Investigation unit, we have administrators who provide essential support in our daily work, which is crucial for those of us who investigate and make decisions. In your role, you will have extensive contact with other units within social services, and we also collaborate with other agencies, such as the Employment Service, the Tax Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, the Migration Agency, among others.
