The unit is part of the Department of Social Services and Leisure. The Reception Unit is part of the Child and Youth Area. The area is led by an area manager and is divided into four units. The Reception Unit consists of two groups with a total of 1 unit manager, 1 administrative assistant, 15 social workers, and 2 group leaders. The unit is undergoing exciting changes where, in addition to reception work and quick investigations, we are hiring several new roles related to the new Social Services Act, where we focus more on outreach and preventive work. The unit is part of the First Line Social Services, which is an initiative to get closer to our target groups and offer earlier interventions. The implementation of First Line Social Services is the first step in a long-term development effort for Bromma's social services. In the Child and Youth Area in Bromma: • Actively participate in the transition to the new Social Services Act through involvement in NUSO (national follow-up of the social services transition). • Participate in several collaborative forms with internal and external actors, such as police, healthcare, and schools/preschools. • Regularly follow up on your social work environment through "Bromma Conversations." • Offer external supervision. • Opportunities for further education at both basic and advanced levels. Your role We are now looking for a social worker with a focus on school collaboration/SIP coordinator, where the assignment is divided into 50% each. The role is part of the First Line Social Services, focusing on preventive and outreach work as well as more coordinated, individualized support for Bromma's children and families. As a social worker with a focus on school collaboration, you will work with the municipal primary schools in Bromma. The role includes, among other things: • Informing school staff, students, and parents about social services. • Collaborating with the student health team. • Providing advice and support conversations with students and parents raised by the student health team. • Collaborating with BUP/LSS to guide/help students/parents to the right support. • Supporting schools on how to handle/make reports of concern. SIP Coordinator A Coordinated Individual Plan (SIP) is a plan that should be established when someone needs interventions from social services and healthcare. The plan clarifies who does what. SIP aims to ensure collaboration between the principal parties so that everyone, regardless of age and issues, can have their needs met by care and support. As a SIP coordinator, your responsibilities include: • Preparing and calling for SIP meetings at the request of social workers. • Participating in and leading SIP meetings. • Ensuring that the involved parties follow the established plan. • Providing support to social workers regarding the need for SIP. Your qualifications and experience Completed degree in social work. Good knowledge of applicable legislation. Experience in exercising authority concerning children and youth. Experience in preventive work and in building and maintaining collaboration. Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, as the work involves some documentation even in non-assistance assessed interventions according to the new Social Services Act.
