Social Services Administration, Adult Support Unit

The Adult Support Unit is tasked with investigating and deciding on various types of interventions primarily under the Social Services Act.

You will work on-site at our municipal office in Vaxholm. Here, you have easy access to beautiful walking paths, public transportation, and ample parking. There is also an option for remote work.
As a social worker, you will investigate and handle cases focusing on substance abuse, gambling addiction, and dependency care. You will work with investigations, assessments, and follow-ups according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Abusers Act (LVM). ASI and treatment interventions are also part of the job. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential, as well as assisting with other matters within the authority. To some extent, you will also investigate and handle cases within social psychiatry, including investigations, assessments, and follow-ups according to SoL and LVM.
In a small organization, you will have the opportunity to work with all relevant tasks within authority operations. You will, of course, participate in the ongoing improvement work and goal-setting within the department.
As an employee of Vaxholm Municipality, you may be assigned to work in the city during a crisis.
Scope: Full-time, 39.5 hours/week.
Start Date: As soon as possible, according to agreement.

Qualifications
You are a trained social worker. Experience in authority operations, knowledge of the target group, ASI, and legislation in the area is advantageous. If you also have knowledge of the operational system LifeCare, we see this as a plus.
