The responsibilities consist of investigating and assessing the resources and needs of children and families, as well as deciding on and following up various interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Special Provisions Act regarding the care of young people (LVU). The work includes meetings and conversations with children, adolescents, and families, where documentation is an important task. We have a reception that handles new reports of concern and preliminary assessments in these cases. You will have support in your work from the unit manager and the workgroup. **QUALIFICATIONS** We are looking for a qualified social worker, and experience in social work and authority exercise in the field of children and youth is an advantage. Our operational system is Cambio VIVA. We seek someone who can understand other people's life situations with a clear child perspective and who can prioritize contact and time with children and youth. As a social worker, it is part of your daily work to meet children and families in need of support. Therefore, it is important that you have a good approach by listening and developing an understanding of the people you meet in your professional role. You are calm and stable and can act calmly in stressful situations. Furthermore, you should be able to organize your work effectively and can easily re-prioritize your tasks as needed during the workday. As a social worker, you will also need to travel for work to follow up on the care of placed children and youth who are outside the municipality, as well as for placements. The requirements are that you have a valid driver's license (B) and are a qualified social worker. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and knowledge of the documentation system Cambio VIVA are advantageous.
