Portable Health is seeking a consultant for the role of Social Worker for an assignment in economic assistance at the Social Support Unit in Bollnäs Municipality.
Work is primarily performed on-site in Bollnäs. A small part of the work can be done remotely by agreement. Travel may occur if needed.
The assignment is full-time and performed during daytime working hours Monday through Friday.
Assignment period is from November 17, 2025, to February 15, 2026, with possibility of extension until August 15, 2026.
Work Tasks
Examples of tasks in the role:
• Perform official administrative duties and manage cases related to social support and economic assistance
• Conduct investigations and individual assessments of client needs
• Plan and follow up interventions with clients, focusing on self-sufficiency
• Collaborate with colleagues in individual and family care and external partners
• Participate in development work for the unit's work methods and quality
• Ensure documentation is completed according to current legislation and procedures
Requirements
• Social Work degree
• Minimum five years of experience in administrative social work within economic assistance
• Experience working with Treserva system
• Driver's license and good computer skills
• Excellent ability to document and communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work independently on personal investigations without co-handler
• Available throughout the entire assignment period
• Presence at workplace at least three days per week
Meritorious
• Minimum eight years of experience in administrative economic assistance work
• Minimum four years of current experience within the past six years
• Experience with structured assessment tools, such as Instrument X
• Experience in coordination or development work within IFO
