We are now seeking two colleagues for our team within Individual and Family Care. Mission Within Care and Support, Individual and Family Care constitutes its own unit, where 18 employees work on the administrative side. As a social worker in Children and Youth, you will be part of a work group with six committed social workers and a senior social worker who investigate children and youth aged 0-18 years. Your tasks involve conducting investigations based on received concern reports and applications regarding children and youths' situations and support needs according to Social Services Act and Care of Young Persons Act. You will also follow up on open care interventions and institutional placements. Work tasks include collaborating with preschools, schools, healthcare, and police. Within the unit, we have close cooperation and help each other, which contributes to continuous learning at work. We work with clear routines and processes that we continuously develop and improve. Our primary focus is conducting good social work. For our Children and Youth team, this means implementing investigation processes that are beneficial for families' change work. When support is needed, we offer assistance and treatment at home as much as possible. Competence We are seeking someone with a clear child perspective who is interested in actively developing the operations. You can easily adapt your work approach to changing conditions and act to promote your own development and continued learning. Furthermore, you have good collaborative abilities and are committed to creating positive relationships. You also have the ability to work independently in your case management and have a sense of responsibility for the authority you exercise. We welcome candidates with a social work degree and experience in public authority work. Meriting are experiences with assessments, decision proposals, and follow-ups of support interventions according to Social Services Act and Care of Young Persons Act for children and youth. It is important to be communicative, clear, and professional both verbally and in writing. We also prefer experience with Signs of Safety method, MI conversation method, child conversations, BBiC, and Lifecare management system. A B driver's license is required for the position.
