**Description**
Support, care, and assistance consist of four units: Individual and Family Services (IFO), functional support, home care, and special housing/night patrol.
Your role is placed within IFO, which is led by a unit manager.
IFO is responsible for all authority exercise within social services as well as open care interventions based on various legislative frameworks. The unit consists of social workers for children and youth, adults, LSS, and assistance administrators, as well as an administrator. The unit works cross-sectorally when needed to support each other in case management and has access to external supervision.
Within the children and youth sector, there are social workers responsible for authority exercise, family therapists, family law secretaries, and caseworkers for contractors.
**Responsibilities**
As a social worker in the children and youth sector, your assignment is to receive reports of concern, conduct preliminary assessments, investigate according to SoL and LVU, as well as implement and follow up on open interventions and placements. The target group is children and youth aged 0-18 and their families, and the work is based on the Children’s Needs in Focus (BBIC) framework. The position includes regularly being on day duty for the entire unit according to a rotating schedule. You may also be required to assist with other tasks within the unit as needed.
The work involves collaboration with, among others, the children's network, preschool/school, child and adolescent psychiatry, and the police, as well as conducting motivational work with families. Close cooperation with colleagues within the unit is also included, where we strive to strengthen families' own resources and networks. We have an open climate and good cohesion where we help each other find solutions. Our goal is to promote well-being and security for the citizens in need of social services.
**Qualifications**
You have a degree in social work and should have experience in authority exercise and work within social services, as well as knowledge of applicable legislation. You are articulate in both spoken and written communication, and it is an advantage if you have handled cases according to BBIC.
We are looking for someone who is positive, driven, and good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work. You are flexible and have the ability to see opportunities in changes. It is important to us that you can work both in a team and independently. You should possess good collaboration and communication skills.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked in the operational system Combine.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
A B driver's license is desirable as travel may be required in the job.
