JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
At the Individual and Family Services Department, we are now seeking a social worker who is passionate about supporting children, youth, adults, and families through social work in various areas of social services. The team is led by a social worker with extended responsibility who manages daily case supervision. Our goal is to always strive to help people live their lives with their own strength through a strong focus on high quality and individualized interventions.
In our joint reception, the main tasks include:
• Initiating and pre-assessing cases involving both children and adults
• Assessments regarding immediate protection under LVM and LVU
• Working according to Signs of Safety, focusing on finding what works for the citizens we meet and exploring their network to help them find resources to live a life of their own strength.

QUALIFICATIONS
You are:
• A trained social worker with experience in municipal social services work
You have:
• Documented experience in public authority work with children, youth, and adults
• A good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, which means being able to write nuanced, concise, and comprehensible text
• A driver's license and ability to drive
It is meritorious if you have experience in reception work and training in Signs of Safety.
As a person, you have the ability to remain calm even in stressful situations. You can take responsibility for your tasks, are used to collaborating with others, and have a high level of empathy. To enjoy the role, we believe you have a good understanding of how society works and are comfortable guiding, informing, and advising those you meet. You show interest and understanding for others and help create team spirit by listening, consulting, and supporting your colleagues.
