About this role

**About the Job** The Social Support Units in Nordost consist of eight units. The units are physically located on Förstamajgatan in Kortedala and on Hjällbo Lillgata in Angered. At present, this position will be based at Social Support Unit 5 on Förstamajgatan in Kortedala, where the FUT caseworkers engage with all units concerning social support. We are currently looking for two new colleagues for our unit, as one of our caseworkers is going on parental leave and another is taking on a new assignment within the administration. The Nordost Social Administration has a workgroup dedicated to FUT case management (incorrect payments). The workgroup consists of a total of five full-time positions where, together with the lead social worker, you will investigate suspected incorrect payments within social support. Thus, in this role, you will not work with self-sufficiency cases but will specifically investigate suspected incorrect payments related to social support. The assignment includes three overarching components: detecting, preventing, and investigating potential incorrect payments. The job includes tasks such as: receiving and pre-assessing reports/leads, conducting investigations and documentation, visiting clients, maintaining ongoing contact and collaboration with the designated caseworkers on social support, facilitating consultation meetings regarding incorrect payments, working with recoveries and voluntary payments, as well as making police reports concerning suspected fraud. Additionally, you will lead competency-enhancing sessions for social support staff and work on preventing incorrect payments. The position includes external process guidance, flexible working hours, the possibility of remote work, and support in methodological issues both in groups and individually. **Qualifications** To apply for this position, you need a degree in social work and experience in regulatory work and social support. We are looking for someone who is analytical and meticulous; it is crucial to be able to identify and analyze the core of the material/information received. You have a strong focus on details and are committed to ensuring that work is carried out correctly and thoroughly. You take significant responsibility for your individual and shared tasks, and you are driven and motivated to complete your work within deadlines. You distinguish between facts and individuals and can make well-founded decisions under time pressure while remaining calm in challenging situations. Last but not least, you have a good demeanor towards colleagues and residents, showing respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. Personal suitability is essential to us. We warmly welcome your application! **Other** To ensure a quality recruitment process, comply with GDPR requirements, and facilitate good communication with our applicants, we ask you to submit your application digitally and not via email or letter.
