Municipal citizens in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and services are provided after an individual assessment as part of our authority's exercise. We aim for the services we provide to lead to independence. The operations focus on services for children, youth, and their parents, issues related to substance abuse, domestic violence, support for persons with disabilities in their daily lives, individuals in need of financial assistance, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration. The Child and Family department is now seeking a new colleague for the reception group within the Authority's Exercise Unit! Our goal is to offer children, youth, and their families the best possible social services for child care and interventions by being a goal- and results-oriented organization. Our ambition and highest priority are to comply with applicable legal requirements and ensure that the families we encounter receive a positive and service-oriented response. The work of the Child and Family department is based on a systems theory foundation with the best interests of the child in focus, where we strive to find solutions in close collaboration with families and their networks. One of the overarching goals within the department is to ensure that children and young people, as far as possible, have the opportunity to live and grow up with their families or, alternatively, be reunited with their origins. The target group for Child and Family includes children aged 0-18 years and young adults aged 18-20 years. The Child and Family department consists of three units led by three unit managers. In the Child and Family department, there are three senior social workers with special responsibility for ensuring lawful authority exercise and providing close support in daily work. Do you want to work in a rewarding and developing role for children, youth, and their families? We welcome your application to the reception group in Nybro! TASKS The main responsibility of the reception group within the Child and Family area is to handle incoming reports of concern, applications, conduct risk assessments in cases, and manage preliminary assessments. The reception group's responsibilities also include handling the release of public documents and providing advisory support in contact with private individuals and other professionals. Other tasks include minor investigations, statements, and applications. The reception group is small and consists of four social workers who receive close support from management functions. The size of the workgroup allows for close collegial support; we support and help each other in the important work that takes place every day. Within the Individual and Family Services in Nybro, we work closely together between units and workgroups. We have established routines for case teams and internal collaboration where you will work alongside colleagues from other parts of the organization, based on the understanding that it is when we work together towards common goals for change that our work achieves the best results. We are co-creators in our development work, and there are good opportunities to contribute to the development of the organization, especially as we implement the new social services law and what it entails. As a newcomer to the organization, we can also offer an introductory program tailored to your previous experiences. We work according to BBIC, and our operational system is Procapita. In the future, we will transition to Lifecare as our system. We offer continuous external supervision to all employees. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? The position is varied and involves several different tasks that require a high level of competence in the field.
