In the sector of Work and Individuals, we organize individual and family care, labor market services, functional support, integration, and adult education. **Description** Welcome to our team! As a social worker in the Children and Youth team within the Investigation Group, you will primarily work with investigations according to the Social Services Act and the Special Provisions Act regarding the care of young people. The team currently consists of nine social workers and one Senior Social Worker. We are expanding our supervisory support and will soon have two Senior Social Workers providing daily support and guidance in the work, as well as an administrator for administrative support. We work based on BBIC with a clear focus on utilizing the individual's and the network's own resources. You will be part of a workgroup with engaged colleagues with varying lengths of experience in Individual and Family Care. You will collaborate closely with other employees within Individual and Family Care, including the adult team, the open care group, as well as with other municipal and external actors. In our smaller municipality, we have short decision-making paths and excel at collaboration. In Individual and Family Care, we actively work on the organizational and social work environment to provide conditions for sustainable work life, and expanding supervisory support is one of several measures underway. The workgroup has access to external supervision. **Responsibilities** In this position, you will primarily work with placed children and foster homes. Your work will involve maintaining contact with children and young people placed in foster homes or care and accommodation facilities. You will follow up on interventions and ensure that the child/young person’s needs are met through the placement. You will recruit, investigate, and supervise resources such as foster homes. You will work to ensure that the client's own solutions and resources are utilized by collaborating with the individual, their family, and network. The role also includes cooperation with internal and external actors and participating in the development work within the unit. **Qualifications** We are looking for someone who has: - A degree in social work, which is a requirement. - Several years of experience working as a social worker in the field of children and youth. - A desire to develop in your professional role and a curiosity to broaden your experience and knowledge. - A commitment to contributing to a good work environment and actively participating in the development of our operations with new working methods and approaches tailored to our clients' needs, the conditions of the external environment, and societal resources. - The ability to see opportunities in complex social work, a collaborative spirit, a solution-focused and flexible approach, and good decision-making skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
