Social Worker for Children and Youth in the Center

We are currently seeking more social workers who want to contribute to maintaining high-quality services with a focus on the needs of our residents. What does the job entail? As a social worker with us, you will work on investigating and following up on interventions according to SoL (Social Services Act) and LVU (Care of Young Persons Act) for children and young people aged 0-21 years. You will collaborate closely with our Resource Unit, which provides outpatient services, and together we will find solutions to create safety and stability for the children and families we encounter. We have a clear structure and use BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus) as the foundation of our work. We are currently focusing on implementing Signs of Safety and placing great emphasis on involving children and young people in our interactions. We offer training and supervision to strengthen you in your work and ensure that we are all working towards the same goals. To give you the best possible start, we have designated social workers responsible for onboarding who will support new employees in their daily tasks. You will also receive regular supervision and opportunities for professional development. Our unit includes senior caseworkers with extensive experience who can provide guidance and support to you as a colleague. You should also have at least 2 years of experience in public authority work within social services, preferably in the area of children and young people. You have a clear child perspective in your work and always prioritize children's rights. You are knowledgeable about the legislation surrounding SoL and LVU, and we would prefer if you have worked with BBIC. We also expect you to have a good ability to investigate, document, and follow up on interventions. A valid driver's license (B) is an advantage for this position. As a person, you are good at collaborating and thrive in a team, while also having the ability to work independently, drive processes, and make your own decisions. You are confident in yourself and in your role as a social worker. Your communication skills enable you to meet people with respect and handle difficult conversations professionally. You have a solution-oriented and positive approach, and you value collaboration to create the best support for each individual. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to structure and prioritize your work effectively.
