JOB DESCRIPTION

In Kalmar, we have three investigative units within child and family services that work closely together to facilitate collaboration and cooperation. Your tasks will include investigating the needs of children and young people according to both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU). We also work on following up on interventions and placements. When you start with us, you will receive an individual introduction and ongoing professional development, including the Professional Journey from SKR during your employment. Management is close at hand, and we hold treatment conferences every week with your immediate supervisor and external guidance. Would you like to be our new colleague?

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has a degree in social work or another equivalent education that meets the current qualification requirements, as well as good knowledge of relevant legislation. In the role of social worker, you will be required to document and compile decision-making materials, which makes it important to express yourself well in writing. It is advantageous if you have previously worked with qualified child welfare investigations and have experience with BBIC and the data systems Procapita/Lifecare.

You are structured and also have the ability to take initiative and see the bigger picture in your work. The work can sometimes change rapidly, requiring you to adapt to new situations. As the job may involve travel, you should be prepared for this to be part of your work.

A valid driver's license (Category B) is required. For employment as a social worker, a clean extract from the criminal record and suspicion register is required.
