We are seeking a social worker for the Children and Family department within Social Services. Social workers in this unit work with investigating cases involving children and youth, deciding on interventions based on needs, and following up to ensure that these interventions make a difference for the children. The work involves investigative and follow-up conversations with children, youth, and parents, documentation, and collaboration with other authorities and organizations. We want to support children and families with their needs in the best possible way - ensuring legal certainty, accessibility, and always keeping the children's best interests in mind. We can offer you professional development in addition to a meaningful, exciting, and varied work environment.
You will be part of a work group with other social workers. You will feel that you are not alone in your assignment. Several social workers in the unit have extensive experience working in social services. Collegial supervision is something we highly value and use daily. We also have continuous external supervision. Additionally, all new employees have the opportunity to participate in Yrkesresan, a national introduction program for social workers in child and youth services. Beyond this, you will be responsible for working towards the department's goals, participating in continuous improvement efforts, contributing to workplace joy, and protecting a good work environment.
