About the Workplace
Stenkulaskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 465 students. Starting in the 2025/26 school year, Stenkulaskolan will have the opportunity to establish a resource school for students in grades 1-9, where we will actively work to ensure that all students are included according to their individual needs. This means that all staff must be open to changing their approach and teaching methods to create the most inclusive learning environment possible, characterized by a strong belief that all students want to learn.
Stenkulaskolan is also Malmö's alternative for students with hearing impairments, who are fully included in regular teaching groups. These conditions allow for smaller class sizes/teaching groups at the school to create the right learning environment for each student. We work according to Simon Sinek's The Golden Circle, and the school's Why is: "We Make The World A Better Place." Stenkulaskolan's commitment plan has focused in recent years on Accessible Learning Environments, SKUA (Language and Knowledge Developing Working Methods), and ICT as an accelerator for pedagogy.
The commitments aim to create a sense of belonging for all children by enabling all employees to further develop the skills they need to create an accessible learning environment. We believe that we can all always develop and improve, and our school development is based on Michael Fullan's ideas about Coherence and Deepening Learning. Here at Stenkulaskolan, we make a real difference for ALL students every day. Join us in creating the best school for every student – you too!
