The Children and Education Administration and Citizen Administration are seeking a person to work within the school social team.

Work Tasks
The team will work with preventive, supportive, and motivational change initiatives at the individual, group, and organizational levels. The goal of the school social team is to create a safe and positive growing environment for students through preventive measures.
The aim is also to increase student attendance, safety, and study calm in schools. In collaboration with schools, social services, and other stakeholders, you and the team will work to strengthen students' conditions to achieve educational goals, increase school attendance, promote a positive school experience, and enhance student well-being and safety.
Work will be conducted in the network around the student and through collaboration, both at the individual and group levels.
The team will, for example:
- Coordinate support for students from schools, social services, and other stakeholders
- Offer psychosocial support and guidance
- Support and guide guardians
- Work operationally in schools
- Work preventively to create a safe school environment for all students
- Maintain close contact with parents and other stakeholders as needed
- Participate in school student health and preventive efforts
- Provide supervision, operational development, and student health work based on student needs
Your primary workplaces will be Gröndalsskolan and Trälleborgsskolan. You will work in a team of three people.
Qualifications
- Education as a social pedagogue or social worker, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Experience working with children and youth, preferably in school or leisure activities
- Good ability to create trusting relationships with students and adults
- Patience, empathy, and ability to work solution-focused in challenging situations
- Experience working in teams and as part of school student health teams
