About you
We are looking for a qualified social educator who will primarily work in a special education group for middle school students. We expect you to be a confident and stable person with a strong ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You possess good communication skills, are clear, and have an ease in collaborating. You have a genuine interest in children and adolescents and want to make a difference for our students. We prefer that you have experience working in schools, especially within special education groups. Experience or training in neuropsychiatric disorders (NPF) is also advantageous.
Job responsibilities
In this role, you will support students during the school day with various subjects and in social interactions. The role also includes handling and investigating incidents of bullying and following up on attendance in middle school. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the teaching team, student health team, and school management. The school also has a special education group for high school, and collaboration occurs regularly with the social educator responsible for that group. As a social educator, you will be part of the school's safety team and also participate in the EHT (Student Health Team). Contact with guardians will be a natural part of the role.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and adolescents and has the appropriate education for the role. We prefer that you have experience working in schools and with challenging students, as well as in special education groups. An interest in sports is important given the school's profile. Personal suitability will be given great importance. For employment with us, you are required to present a criminal record extract concerning work in schools and preschools.
