About this role
We are looking for 2 individuals who can work as needed in our newly established collective support housing located in a rural area between Nyköping and Malmköping. There may also be shifts available at our treatment center Gläntan unga vuxna Snösvad for women, which is situated just outside Malmköping.
These two facilities cater exclusively to women, and we have only female staff. The new facility has 8 places and the target group consists of women aged 21 and above with co-occurring disorders such as neuropsychiatric disorders, substance abuse issues, and mental health challenges. We see a significant number of individuals who fall through the cracks and have complex issues that require coordinated efforts. It is this target group that we welcome and will support based on individual circumstances and needs. Examples of job responsibilities include:
• Mapping strengths and weaknesses
• Training in daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, planning, etc.)
• Establishing a functioning daily routine
• Employment support
• Assistance with coordination of services
• Promoting a healthy life balance
Your main responsibilities will include providing support in the form of planning, client-facing work, training in everyday activities, conversations, coordination, collaboration, and documentation. We work with evidence-based methods and tailor materials, support, and activities according to our clients' individual circumstances.
About You
We are looking for someone who is a trained social educator or has equivalent education and has previous experience working with individuals in difficult life situations. You need to be secure and balanced, with a focus on the client's well-being. As a person, you are solution-focused, creative, organized, and responsible. We seek staff with broad competence and experience regarding individuals with various disabilities, substance abuse issues, and mental health challenges. Experience with co-occurring disorders, pedagogical work, and individualized support is desirable. It is an advantage if you have worked in areas such as functional support, education, psychiatry, or housing support.
The support housing is a quality service that is adapted to the individual circumstances of those currently placed in the facility. Therefore, it is important that the staff is committed to the target group and can work with flexibility. We consider it essential that you can adapt your approach and communication to each individual. We place great emphasis on relationship-building activities and working in a structured manner towards the individual's goals in the implementation plan.
To apply for the position, the following is desirable:
• Education: Social educator, treatment educator, or support educator
• Experience in motivational work and housing support
• Training in the 12-step method, ÅP, TMO, MI, ESL, or another method
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills as documentation is extensive
• B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
• Reside in the municipalities of Flen or Nyköping
