Are you looking to make a difference for young people? We are currently seeking a social educator for our high schools in Kungsbacka.
You will play an important role in the school's safety team and work closely with students who need extra support to improve their well-being and succeed in their studies. The role is focused on individuals and complements the team's work at the group level. You will concentrate on building trust, creating safety, and providing students with the support they need to dare to change their situations. The Role of Social Educator with Us
An increasing number of high school students struggle with mental health issues. Behind school absenteeism, stress, and difficulties in reaching goals, there are often young people who need more than general interventions – they need someone who sees them. These students require security, continuity, and a personal connection to dare to open up and begin a positive change.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being part of the school's safety team with a focus on individual needs.
- Working operationally in high school to follow up with students in need of support.
- Collaborating with student health services, mentors, school leadership, and guardians.
- Contributing to the development of sustainable methods to support students in the long term.
Your Profile
You enjoy working practically and closely with students. You are confident in collaborating with others and find it easy to build trust. You like teamwork and contribute positively to good relationships within the team. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified social educator.
- Has relevant experience working with children and young people.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience working with children and young people in school, social services, or interdisciplinary contexts.

Our Offer and Additional Information
We offer a temporary full-time position for 1 year, with the start date to be agreed upon.
