About Viljan Ugglegatan HVB
Ugglegatan is a smaller residential facility in Linköping with five apartments that offers a safe and individualized environment. Each resident has their own apartment within a shared staircase, creating both independence and proximity to support. The facility is designed to provide intensive treatment and meet needs that traditional HVB homes may struggle to address.
To ensure high quality, we maintain a high staff-to-resident ratio and have staff available around the clock, including awake night shifts. Our setup allows us to tailor support entirely based on the individual's needs and the specifications of the social services mandate. As a natural extension of our operations, we also offer a smaller supported living arrangement. Here, those who are ready for the next step towards independence can continue their development while retaining their previous contacts and staff. The level of support in the supported living arrangement is adjusted according to individual needs to create a secure transition to adulthood.
HVB Ugglegatan welcomes girls and transgender individuals aged 14–20 from across the country. Our treatment model is based on evidence-based methods such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). These methods form the foundation of our psychosocial treatment and are used to address each individual's specific needs.
We work entirely individually with residents and design treatment plans that match their circumstances and goals. Each step in the treatment process is carefully planned and continuously evaluated to ensure the best possible outcomes.
The staff consists exclusively of women.
