DUTIES
Do you want to make a difference for children, youth, and their families? We are now seeking an engaged and proactive social worker for our preventive work within individual and family care.
In this role, you will work outreach and preventively in environments where children and youth spend time, such as schools, youth centers, and in the community. A key focus area is conducting outreach activities on the internet through various forums and being active on social media. Another important aspect of the work is collaboration with other actors such as schools, police, and youth centers. The work may involve working with both children and youth as well as their families. The position also includes writing various types of statements.
Social services are facing changes with the new Social Services Act, which means the assignment may evolve. This gives you the opportunity to help shape part of the future social services.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a social worker with a relevant degree. We prefer candidates with experience in similar tasks. You should be proactive, independent, and responsible. You must have the ability to create and maintain relationships with children and youth over time. We place great importance on personal suitability.
A driver's license is required.
Your title will be Field Secretary.
Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
