JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In our Children and Youth Unit, Lotsen, there is an investigation group consisting of intake, investigators, and open care, a placement group handling cases under SoL and LVU, and a foster care group. Two Senior Social Workers and a Social Administrator and Administrator are connected to support these groups.
As a Social Administrator, you play a crucial role in supporting social workers to provide the right support to people in need. Your assignment involves managing contacts and administration between people, authorities, and those working in social services. The position includes, among other tasks:
- Supporting intake secretaries with case administration, such as processing notifications, retrieving previous information, assisting with notes in client and staff meetings, and scheduling client meetings.
- Scheduling and documenting Collaborative Care Planning (SIP) meetings.
- Being a central point of contact for internal tasks and external communication with children, families, and collaboration partners.
- Assisting with administrative tasks like requesting various documents, handling economic calculations, and record-keeping.
- Responsible for requesting and communicating documents with internal and external collaboration partners.
- Serving as a super-user in our operational systems LifeCare and JournalDigital.
- Administering external and internal websites and maintaining the unit's documents, routines, and templates.
- Managing personal files, performing some record-keeping, participating in introductions, scheduling appointments and meetings, etc.
- Checking absent employees' mail, calendar, phone, and email.
- Performing other administrative tasks as needed.
You play a central role in our team and contribute to improving our service for municipal residents. Your work will be multifaceted and dynamic, offering opportunities to make your mark on the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for the position, you must have education as a Social Administrator or equivalent education as assessed by the employer. You should have knowledge of legislation concerning social services' work with children and youth and previous experience in administrative work.
You possess strong digital maturity and are experienced in working with Microsoft 365. Previous experience with the operational system LifeCare is meritorious.
We seek someone with a strong service focus and well-developed collaboration skills, which are crucial for success in this role. You have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing. With your structured work style and solution-oriented approach, you contribute to making our processes efficient and smooth.
A B driver's license is required for the position.
