We are embarking on an exciting transformation journey as we adapt our organization in accordance with the new Social Services Act that came into effect on July 1, 2025. We are now looking for a social administrator for the Children and Youth department. As a social administrator, you will serve as a close support in collaboration with caseworkers and managers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The social administrator works closely with caseworkers and managers, and the role is distinctly different from a traditional administrative position. The focus is on relieving caseworkers of their tasks, which means that the social administrator actively contributes to social work rather than merely handling administrative routines.
Examples of job responsibilities include:
• Participating in certain client visits and taking notes.
• Scheduling appointments and making calls on behalf of caseworkers.
• Preparing documentation and statistics for managers for internal controls, self-assessments, and monthly reports.
The social administrator supports both social workers and managers, helping to free up time for professional work by taking over parts of the administrative responsibilities that would otherwise fall on caseworkers.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a degree as a social administrator, social worker, behavioral scientist, or another similar higher education qualification that we consider equivalent. It is important that you have good IT skills and knowledge of the Office suite. To succeed in this role, you should have experience in case handling and documentation within public administration, and therefore possess a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish. We would prefer that you have experience working within social services and familiarity with the operational system Treserva. A valid driver's license is required as you will use a car for work purposes.
As a person, you are flexible and able to adapt to different tasks and situations. Furthermore, you are self-motivated and take responsibility for your work. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and are eager to share your knowledge and experiences. You are approachable in your interactions with other employees and have a willingness to help and deliver solutions.

The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made. According to the Social Services Act, a criminal record check must be presented by individuals before they are employed to work in homes for care or accommodation (HVB homes), supported housing, or protected housing.
