Within Iver's Managed Service Provider offering, Cybersecurity is a dedicated department focused on delivering specialized security services. Your role at Iver: As the SOC Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of security analysts to ensure round-the-clock monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement of our detection and response capabilities. You will coordinate operations across different shifts, quality assure alarm handling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage security incidents from detection to recovery. This role combines leadership, process development, and hands-on oversight, allowing you to shape how we deliver SOC services and mentor the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Typical tasks: • Lead, mentor, and develop SOC analysts, ensuring high performance, quality alarm handling, and professional development across the team. • Drive the creation and refinement of SOC processes, detection content, response plans, and threat intelligence integration. • Manage SOC operations across different shifts to ensure continuous threat monitoring, incident detection, and response coverage around the clock. • Directly oversee, triage, and respond to activities in real-time, providing guidance during incidents and ensuring escalations are handled effectively. • Track SOC key performance indicators, perform quality assurance of incident documentation, and coordinate with other teams on containment and root cause analysis. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with proven leadership skills and several years of experience in similar roles, who is self-driven, confident, communicative, organized, humble, collaborative, and service-oriented. We prefer that you have extensive experience in several of the following areas: • EDR/XDR/SIEM technology - Possibly with a focus on running local options at scale. • Automation – Insight into how automation can be used to effectively enhance efficiency and improve quality within the framework of MSSP service delivery, for example through a SOAR. • Incident response – In terms of establishing incident response plans and coordinating response efforts. While this may vary depending on the candidate's other attributes, we strongly prefer if you can participate in our on-call rotation. • Customer engagement – Being comfortable speaking with various levels of customer resources and confident enough to guide them through their security journey by providing recommendations and suggesting alternative solutions based on their needs. • Compliance – Some relevant frameworks include GDPR, NIS2, CIS18, PCI-DSS, and NIST 800-61. At least at a basic level, understand the importance and implications of Swedish, Nordic, European, and American geopolitical phenomena.
