Carpenter / Door Installer Wanted – Northern Stockholm, Uppsala & Enköping
YDS – Exterior Door Specialists are seeking experienced installers with high professional pride.
We exclusively work with exterior doors, side lights, and interior doors for private homeowners in northern Stockholm, Uppsala, and Enköping.
This position is ideal for self-driven, responsible individuals who work with the same diligence as an independent contractor – whether you prefer employment, project-based work, or self-employment.
About the Position
You will manage the entire process – from measurement and material estimation to final installation. The role involves customer interaction, professional conduct, and delivering a neat and sustainable end result.
Requirements
• Experience installing exterior doors, side lights, and interior doors
• Ability to perform metal work (threshold plates, flashings, finishes)
• Skill in material quantity estimation for installation
• Self-motivated and responsible – able to work independently
• Own vehicle
• Strong customer communication and professional demeanor
• Precision, punctuality, and professional pride
• Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
Preferred Qualifications
• Personal tools
• Experience running an independent business
• Photos or references of previous door installations
• Experience working in private homes/residential areas
• Familiarity with measuring and pre-installation checks for door replacements
