About the Position: We are now seeking snow shovelers for the winter season 2024 - 2025. Snow shoveling is done manually and as needed, meaning work occurs at varying hours and to varying extents. The work consists of shoveling snow as required and combating slippery conditions. When working on snow shoveling, you will be on standby, which means you must be able to step in on short notice and when needed, specifically when snow falls and shoveling is required.
Your Profile: To be considered for the snow shoveler position, you must be flexible as work can occur on weekdays and weekends, as well as at different times of the day. You should therefore be available to quickly step in and work when needed. When it snows, we will simply call you. Good physical condition is a prerequisite as the work can be physically demanding. The work takes place outdoors, and you should therefore be able to work outside for many hours.
Important qualities are that you are positive and committed, and additionally have no difficulties stepping in on short notice.
Other important qualities include being flexible and thorough so that the work can be completed with good results. Experience with similar work is meritorious but not a requirement. A driver's license and access to a car are considered highly meritorious. Applicants should have good Swedish language skills.
