Your Role At Veterankraft, you will work with manual snow shoveling, ensuring that our customers' driveways, paths, and entrances are kept clear of snow and ice during winter. Work is typically done in teams responsible for different areas in Östersund. Assignments can vary in scope, depending on snowfall - sometimes several shifts per week, sometimes none at all. The work involves being outdoors, staying active, and making a practical contribution that is appreciated by many. It's a perfect assignment for those who enjoy outdoor work and want to stay active. The role includes: • Shoveling snow in assigned areas • Ensuring walkways and entrances are accessible and free from ice • Collaborating with team members to cover the entire area • Reporting obstacles or problems affecting work to team leaders Your Profile As a person, you are meticulous, service-oriented, and communicate easily with team leaders, property owners, or neighbors when needed. You are punctual, reliable, and maintain a positive attitude even during tough winter days. You can work independently as well as collaborate with others. • 55 years or older • Good health and strength to handle physical work in cold conditions for extended periods • Previous experience with manual snow removal, preferably in residential areas or commercial properties • Ability to independently assess when snow removal is needed and act promptly • Availability to respond to snowfall, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing Application Interested in becoming part of Veterankraft?
