Securitas is now seeking security guards for assignments to protect critical operations for Sweden. This is a role for those who are not just looking for a job – but are ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our country's supply and security. It is about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round. As a security guard, you play a crucial role in maintaining the safety of operations that are important for Sweden. You will work with extended authority, often in close collaboration with our clients. The work is varied and may include both stationary and patrolling surveillance, access control, or work in a monitoring center. You will need to make independent decisions in critical situations, possess good endurance, and have sound judgment. Therefore, we are looking for a person who has the ability to remain calm when others do not – and is loyal to Swedish interests. Security guard duties are conducted both indoors and outdoors, day and night. The length of work shifts varies, but they are often scheduled in 12-hour shifts according to a rotating schedule. Since we operate in a business that runs every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend. The position includes, among other things, that you: • Protect critical operations from unauthorized access and other threats • Perform checks according to applicable regulations and instructions • Collaborate with personnel and authorities on security matters • You will carry a weapon This is an on-call position with the possibility of working full-time during the summer of 2026. Requirements Requirements: • You must be a trained security guard, civilian or military, with valid certification. • Have approved grades in Swedish and English from high school • B driver's license • You must undergo and be approved in a security clearance as the position involves placement in a security class. • You must complete a weapons training course with a passing result. It is advantageous if you also have: • Previous experience in the surveillance of protected objects, other security work, or security services. • Completed extensive security clearances • Weapons training (HAS) Clarification for those who are military security guards: if you have completed security guard training with the Armed Forces as part of the Armed Forces' basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. The security guard training, as well as GMU, must have been completed in 2016 or later, and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application. You should have the documentation ready in your application, as it may take time to request it from the Armed Forces.
