Your role
As a school caretaker with us, you will have a varied and practical role with responsibilities including:
- basic repair and maintenance work (e.g., lock changes, furniture relocation)
- technical support for AV equipment and management of the school's locking system
- ordering of consumables through the city's purchasing system
- communication with property managers, suppliers, and craftsmen
- safety work: key management, alarm routines, fire safety inspections (SBA), safety rounds, and evacuation drills
- collaboration with the cleaning service provider and conducting cleaning inspections
Your skills and experience
We are looking for someone who:
- has a high school education and good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written)
- has experience as a school caretaker, preferably within the City of Stockholm
- has basic IT skills (Office Suite) and is familiar with digital systems. Experience with Agresso is an advantage.
- is service-oriented, structured, and self-driven
- has good collaboration skills and enjoys having many points of contact
- is solution-oriented, proactive, and resilient under stress
