Your role
As a school social worker, you are part of the school social team, and your task is to help students and guardians structure their daily lives. The work involves formulating and following up on goals based on the relationship between student attendance and academic results, providing psychosocial support for the student, meeting and maintaining contact during the school week, and breaking down the work into short-term goals. The assignment entails collaborating with key stakeholders both within and outside the district administration. You will be one of five school social workers, and together you will work in the district's primary schools for grades 4-9 in teams with representatives from student health services. During interviews, we will share more about how you practically work as a family therapist within the school social team, in close collaboration with the schools.

Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who is a qualified social worker. You have substantial experience in collaboration with various operational areas and several years of experience in psychosocial change work. Experience in social services and training in step 1, parental support programs such as ABC and KOMET, as well as knowledge of neuropsychiatric disorders (NPF), are advantageous for the role.
It is also beneficial to have knowledge of and experience in coordinating teams with different competencies. You work independently but form a team with the school's staff for each specific assignment. The work requires flexibility regarding work methods and openness to collaborating with different professions. Occasionally, it may be necessary to work outside regular working hours. You need to have excellent collaboration skills with a well-developed network mindset. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the ability to fit into the group and complement the group's competencies.
