JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking a School Nurse for the student health teams at Väckelsångskolan and Linnerydskolan. The assignment also includes service in the adapted primary school's student health team. As a School Nurse, you will be part of the schools' student health team, which consists of special education teachers, special education specialists, school counselors, and school management. The organization also enables close collaboration with speech therapists and psychologists. In collaboration with the student health team and educators, you will contribute medical expertise to work for students' well-being, safety, and knowledge development. You will play a significant role in value-based work and in promoting school attendance. Preventive and health-promoting student health work is central to the assignment. Health conversations, health examinations, vaccinations, and open reception are some of the school nurse's tasks in this area. There is a well-established and close collaboration within the municipality's school nurse group. As a School Nurse in the adapted primary school, you will regularly participate in collaboration meetings about students with extensive care needs or medical interventions in school to support staff and maintain close dialogue with guardians. QUALIFICATIONS Registered nurse with specialist education in pediatric nursing, district nursing, or school nursing. You have an excellent ability to work both independently and in teams. Experience working with the adapted primary school target group is meritorious. A driver's license and access to a personal car are required as it is not possible to travel between facilities by bus. Experience in the school nursing profession and/or experience with health-promoting and preventive work in other settings is meritorious.
